Do, learn, share

Join For Water works according to the principles of action research: development cooperation is a process in which solutions to social challenges are sought, tried out and adjusted. Investments must be made in research, local opportunities must be sought and support must be created.

Finding qualitative, sustainable solutions is essential, but the learning process to arrive at these solutions is at least as important. We learn from successes, but also from setbacks. We share our knowledge and expertise internally between our partner countries, but also use international networks to talk about lessons learned, or bring key learnings from a local project to a national level via lobbying.
